Youth Care Worker – CYS employs 35 youth care staff who provide daily living care and supervision to residents of our 4 youth facilities. Youth care staff must be at least age 21 and have a high school diploma or GED. To be successful as a youth care worker you must be able to work positively with adolescents and truly enjoy working with teen-agers. You should be able to be a good role model for youth and able to provide direction in a caring and nurturing manner. The position is also an excellent entry level position for college graduates who are interested in the human services field. Many of our caseworkers, program managers, and administrative staff started out at CYS as a youth care worker. Youth care workers work day, night, or evening shifts including some weekends work is required. 

 

Outreach and Residential Caseworkers - CYS employs 15 caseworkers who work in community outreach offices or in our residential facilities. The caseworker position requires that you must be at least 21 and have a bachelor level degree in social work or related humans services field. Residential caseworkers are required to be on call every 5-8 weeks. On call staff may have to come to the facility after regular work hours. 

 

Therapist/Counselors - CYS employs 4 master’s level mental health licensed/certified treatment professionals. Therapist and counselors must be licensed/certified as a mental health professional in Arkansas.
